ICAO Airport Serviced Manual (Doc 9137), Part 1 Rescue and Firefighting.
NFPA 460, Standard for Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting Services at Airports.

Explain the purpose, specifications, and limitations of the different types of portable fire extinguishers used in their workplace.
Identify hazards and precautions associated with using portable fire extinguishers.
Explain the requirements for pre- and post- use inspections of portable fire extinguishers.
Explain the actions required to make the scene safe prior to use of portable fire extinguishers.
Explain the correct operating procedures for portable fire extinguishers, using the P.A.S.S method (including testing the extinguisher before use).
Explain requirements for recording inspection results and reporting faults.
