About this course

The Project Management Specialist course, developed by the McGill University School of Continuing Studies, provides a clear and practical overview of modern project management. It covers predictive, adaptive, and hybrid approaches to project management, as well as related methodologies, best practices, tools, and techniques. 

The course content is aligned with leading project management standards and practice guides, including:

→ A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide, 8th Edition), which covers principles of project management and focus areas.

→ A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide, 7th Edition), which covers principles of project management and project performance domains.

→ Process Groups: A Practice Guide (2022), which complements the PMBOK® Guide, 7th Edition.

→ Agile Practice Guide (2017), which provides an overview of various Agile approaches, tools, and situational guidelines.

Through case studies, scenarios, videos, and practical activities, key concepts are brought to life, while insights from experienced project management professionals and downloadable templates support the immediate application of learning in the workplace.

Please note that this course is provided and delivered by McGill University and won't be delivered through Klayo.
