Welcome to Klayo: one platform for the airport workforce

Key take aways

  • Klayo 2.0 goes live on 17th August 2026
  • This new version includes delivery of OLC and CAOC ACI-accredited training
  • It introduces My Klayo, a new section of the platform dedicated to helping airport professionals advance their career

As of 17 August 2026, Klayo is live, bringing Online Training and Workforce Intelligence together in a single platform and brand built around the people who run airports.

From now on, Klayo brings learning, workforce data, and planning into one connected system, which means the training your people complete and the capability your operation depends on finally live in the same place.

This is a bigger change than a new logo. If you have trained with ACI Online Learning Centre (OLC) or the Canadian Airports Online College (CAOC), your courses, your certifications, and your learning history are all here, now part of a platform that does far more than deliver training. You will find the things you know such as your current and completed courses as well as gain access to My Klayo to help you take control of your airport career.

Why one platform, and why now

After working with airports for over 17 years, we have noticed a clear disconnect between airports’ training investment and real-life outcomes. That is because the information is scattered across systems and departments: training in one system, workforce records in another, and planning done in spreadsheets that go out of date the moment they are saved. Airports can invest heavily in courses and still have no reliable way to know whether their people can do the jobs the operation depends on.

As our 2026 State of Online Learning report highlighted, the learning is happening, the strategy is there, but the connective tissue is often missing. Without real-time visibility into how training aligns with job roles, compliance requirements, and progression pathways, airports struggle to answer critical questions such as: “Do we have the right certified people in the right roles?”, “Which compliance risks are emerging?”, or “How do we align professional development with retention strategy?”

Klayo brings learning, workforce data, and planning into one connected system. You can see who is qualified for what across your entire operation, spot the gaps before they turn into incidents, and give the right training to the right people. With Klayo, compliance and career development become visible and finally work hand in hand for optimal results.

Built for airport professionals at all levels

For individual airport professionals, we have created My Klayo, a section dedicated to skills and career development. On top of the Course Catalogue, it contains the new Skills Passport, a single record of every credential, qualification, and completed course held. It also features Career Explorer, a database of over 100 airport jobs and the competencies they require to help users understand where they stand and what it would take to move toward the job they want next.

For airports and their leaders, Workforce Intelligence turns all of that individual capability into an operational picture. It maps jobs, tasks, and competencies across the entire workforce, runs gap analysis, and tracks compliance against specific regulations. This allows operational leaders to immediately see the impact of regulatory change, facilitate internal mobility, and better plan for large infrastructure or workforce projects.

The bigger idea

The airport industry has never had a shared layer for workforce capability. Every airport builds its own view, in its own systems, cut off from everyone else. Klayo starts to change that. Because capability records travel with the individual, a skilled professional can carry a verified record of what they can do from one airport to the next, and airports can finally see capability at industry scale.

That is the direction we are heading: workforce capability treated as core infrastructure for the industry, in the same way that runways, systems, and safety frameworks already are.

Klayo does not arrive as a promising idea, it arrives with proof. More than 30,000 airport professionals have already taken the ACI Online Learning Centre training Klayo delivers, across over 1,500 organizations in more than 150 countries. Together they have completed over 500,000 hours of training, drawing on a catalogue of more than 200 courses across 14 faculties.

If you are an individual, log in and explore My Klayo to see your Skills Passport and explore where your career could go. If you lead a team or an airport, this is the moment to see your workforce the way you already see your passengers: clearly and in real time.
