The Human Factors Safety Training course provides participants with an introduction to the fundamental concepts of Human Factors and assists them to recognize, understand and mitigate human performance issues at their airport.

This course can be taken as part of the Certificate I in Airside Safety for those wishing to deepen their knowledge and understanding of the key elements of airside safety and how these elements combine as part of the airport’s overall Safety Management System.

This course is also available in French and Spanish.

Describe how Human Factors are related to safe airport / airline / maintenance operations.
Improve safety through the application of basic Human Factors strategies.

All new employees that require initial safety training as part of their induction process.

Personnel responsible for training and facilitating airside operational staff.
Anyone interested in a career in airport operations and/or safety.

Safety Manager

Oversees airport safety programs, ensuring regulatory compliance, risk management, and a strong safety culture.
